Privacy policy

Closen is operated by CreativeOPTIC LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This page says what we hold, why we hold it, and who else can see it.

What we collect

Your account. Name, email address, and a password we never see, because it is hashed by our authentication provider before it reaches us.
Your card. Whatever you choose to publish: headline, city, years selling, the niches you work, your bio, your photo, and your numbers.
Your work record. The offers you list, the dates, and the email address of the owner you name so that person can confirm or dispute it.
Applications. What you applied to, your answers to the owner's questions, the stage it reached, and any note attached to a decision.
Contact details you enter. Phone number and email, shown to an offer owner only once you have applied to a seat they own.
Basic technical data. Ordinary server logs kept by our hosting provider, used to keep the service running and to investigate abuse.

What we do not collect

No payment details, because Closen does not take payment. No advertising trackers. No third party analytics that follow you around other websites. We do not sell your data to anybody, and we do not rent it either.

Who can see what

A published card is visible to anybody with the link. If you set it to Link only it is kept off the public roster and out of search, which is there for somebody working an offer who is quietly looking.
Your numbers are on your card. A seller searching for other sellers gets name, seat and city only, never the figures, so Closen cannot be used to build a list of people to poach.
Your email and phone reach an offer owner only after you apply to one of their seats. Applying is what shares them.
An application is visible to you, to the owner of that seat, and to Closen staff. Nobody else.
Closen staff can see accounts, cards and applications in order to operate the platform, answer support and investigate reports.

Who else holds any of it

Three companies, each doing one job:

Supabase stores the database, the accounts and uploaded images.
Vercel runs and serves the website.
Resend delivers the emails Closen sends you.

None of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes. Closen adds no others without updating this page.

Email

Closen emails you about things happening to your own account: an application you sent, a decision an owner made, a request to confirm somebody's record. Those are part of the service. Marketing email, if it ever exists, will be separate and will carry an unsubscribe link.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. Ask us to delete it and we remove your account, your card and your applications. Two things survive: records we are required to keep by law, and rows that are about somebody else as well as you, such as a confirmation an owner gave, which stays with that owner's own record.

Your choices

Edit or unpublish your card at any time from your dashboard.
Switch your card to Link only to come off the public roster.
Withdraw an application at any point before a decision.
Ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be deleted, at support@closen.io. We answer within 30 days.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to the database is restricted per account by row level security, which is what stops one seller reading another's applications. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected people if a breach ever puts their data at risk.

Children

Closen is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from anybody younger, and we delete it if we find it.

Where your data lives

On servers in the United States. If you are outside the United States, using Closen means your data is transferred there.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and a change that affects what we collect or who sees it will be said out loud in the app.
